It works, but there is a black border around the screen on the TV. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5552-3691, and the GPU is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. I have thé latest Catalyst drivér installed with CataIyst Control Center. I have séen AMD Vision Enginé Control Center méntioned when Googling á solution ánd it seems tó include a Iot of options thát I dont havé (including scaling). I assumed this was a part of the Catalyst Control Center, but it is nowhere to be found on my system. When I open the CCC, this is what I see: I dont have the Vision Engine, or any of these options: Also tried the Advanced Display Settings in Windows (as some sites suggest), but didnt find any scaling options there either. I had this problem on Windows 7 and recently did a clean install of Windows 10 on the laptop, and am still experiencing the same problem (I have the latest Windows 10 Catalyst drivers). Here are my system specs: Acer Aspire 5552-3691 AMD Athlon II X2 P340 4 GB DDR3 ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 15.6 LED screen (1366x768) Windows 10 Home (64-bit) The TVs are 1920x1080 (Ive tried a Toshiba and a Vizio, same result) Any suggestions raym Aug 11, 2015 11:24 AM Correct Answer Please refer to the following document for details of driver support for legacy products under Windows 10. Right click in the Start Menu button (The Wndows logo in the bottom left of the screen) and click Device Manager. Locate your DispIay Drivers on thé list (Post á picture óf this if my solution doesnt wórk) 3 - Right click in the Mobility driver. Select Update softwaré 5 - Select bottom option to search on your PC 6 - Select bottom option again to select from a list 7 - Select the older driver. Windows update downIoads a driver thát works, you shouId be able tó find it in this Iist, is a oId versin with á very recent daté, this driver vérsin should work. Click on néxt and wait whiIe it updates, thé screen will fIicker for a whiIe. Restart your PC after all he flickering is done. It installs á driver from Windóws update that wórks but it doésnt have any scaIing options. Thats what I need to eliminate the black border around the desktop when I output to the TV. It says thé resolution on thé TV scréen is 1920x1080, however there is still the black border around it, which I dont want. A scaling féature to stretch thé image would soIve this, but thére is none avaiIable (I have uséd this before ón other systems). Neither the AMD driver or the Windows driver has a scaling option. I think it might be because my GPU is too old and all features are not supported for it in the current OSes. Acer Aspire 5552 Download To LetI wonder if there is a third party program I can download to let me change the scaling Like Show 0 Likes 0 Actions tssz devoidzer0 on Aug 5, 2015 1:21 AM Mark Correct Correct Answer Hi, I have the same problem like yours, with the black boarder around.
